Default What Movie Freaked You Out?

I saw The Nun this weekend with my wife. It was decent but it got me thinking of what movies freaked you out. Considering its Halloween time lets get a list going. For me as a kid Dr. Phibes had me sleeping with one eye open for months. As an adult, The Babadook freaked me out. What say you?

The bridge, it’s a documentary about people jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s the best place in the world to end it all.

They part that makes your hair stand up is. When they set up a telescopic lens to film the bridge and you randomly you see people jump off. No records as the bodies usually wash out to sea.

Spoilers are below.

Two people have survived the jump, one was in an institution for 6 months. Everyone thought she was fine. The day she got out she went back and jumped off again.

When I was a kid "The Time Machine" scared me. Nuclear war and human eating monsters were pretty scary to a young kid.

Hereditary. Terrifying in concept and execution. Slower paced and more about building dread like the classics did (Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby).

This is easy.... Misery, based on Stephen King's novel. The scene when she breaks his legs. My heart rate is going up just typing this.
