You said 5, 5 gallon buckets of rocks wash down each time? Really, and you can blow 25 pounds of rocks back up his driveway? I also live in a court where the kids play. New construction and when it rains dirt washes into the road. Kids hit dirt and crash on their bikes. I just went to the builder and he fixed the problem when he heard several kids had taken a spill. You need to knock on his door and have a talk. No text or emails man to man.

I want to see pics of this gravel. Personally i wouldnt try to go to war with the neighbor sounds like he can make things worse if he wanted too. If the kids were headed out ill just walk out with my push broom and give it a little sweep while drinking a beer. You never know. Maybe him seeing you sweep it so the kids can play may be enough to passively get him to fix it. Id broom it off and stand there propped up on the handle drinking a beer while the kids scootered around. Then if that dont work, toss the empty beer cans in his yard after you drink it.

As far as kids playing in the street. I watched his kids grow up playing out there. Never an issue. I just feel it is his responsibility to keep his gravel on his property. Not across the town owned road. Maybe I am wrong thinking this.
My yard is neat and tidy. And if anything of mine affected a neighbor I would correct it.
What do you mean you got no answer, what did he do, just stand there and stare at you?

In a tricky situation like this you want to trust your instincts. My instincts tell me this is an eye for an eye situation so you'll need to stab his son in the knee.

Maybe he's figuring once all the gravel washes away he will fix the area? You keep putting it back so he doesn't fix it.
