Water and UPF repellent for clothing, 303??

Default Water and UPF repellent for clothing, 303??

Had some hiking shorts from REI that claimed to be water repellent.
They were when new, not so much now.
Was thinking about using 303 on them but not sure it's good for the skin.
Anybody know another product for clothes??

E-mail 303 and explain what you want to do. When I use that stuff on our Sunbrella, I break out and become itchy. Not sure how it would be, but do contact them a post your results. Thanks.......
