Itís 1 in the afternoon.

We have been up since 8.
I have:
Ran out to get breakfast
taken a shower
packed
Cleaned out the truck and bed
cut up some starboard in the shop
packed the truck
Emptied the disheasher
loaded the dishwasher
cleaned the house
fed the chickens
made brownies to take with us

how can she still be getting ready?

She has to change her outfit 10-20 times to be sure she has the correct one on,
Change make up because the first go around wasn’t perfect,
Chat to her girlfriends via text for 45 minutes in between every coat of makeup,

Do it all over “again” to make sure it’s right.

Women!
Can’t live with them and can’t get some tail w/o them.

If you're asking that question, you're near death. Make more brownies.

She was ready yesterday ...... now she is upstairs laughing her ass off while watching you take care of most of her chores.

Maybe he should make some "special" brownies and he just won't care anymore......

Mine hadn't done much all morning, but within 20 minutes of my asking her if she wanted go to our favorite Indian restaurant for lunch, she was ready. It was a Sunday miracle!

Learned along time ago if you have to leave at noon tell the wife 11. It will help

I was up at 9 and had a snack for breakfast. Then I spent a couple of hours detailing the truck in 90 degree heat. Then it was load up the truck with the trash for a dump run. A quick shower and lunch then off for a haircut. Next will be packing clothes then a trip to the grocery store for snacks and ice. To bed early for 5:30 wake up for the 11 hour drive to Virginia for vacation. Wife's only job is to pack for her and the kid today. Laundry hasn't been started yet.

That would be my wife. Getting out the door and to scheduled events on time is normal. We both hate to be late.

stringle 07-01-2018 02:54 PM
