Default Always that one boat of white guys

Playing late 90’s/early 2000’a rap at the raft up area/sandbar. No women around them. Amazingly they think they are cool. Who are these folks? How did they manage to make enough $$$ to escape the trailer park and buy a boat?

It's not what they are playing so much as how loud they are playing it. Down here, it ain't just white guys either. Every noodlebrain with a stereo thinks they are the DJ for the sandbar. Rock, Spanish, country, reggae, Jimmy Buffet, and that latest abomination - hick hop - all cranked to the max. That $#!+ will eat brain cells.

Last week at the sandbar a fatass and his giant wife showed up at the sandbar in a little flats boat. Looked like it would sink. The idiot pulls out a speaker as big as the poling platform and sticks it up there, points it at shore and starts cranking garbage country. Meanwhile they hang out in the water in front of the boat guzzling shitty beer. I wanted to go over with the gaff and stick them both. Inconsiderate bastards.

As has been posted, there are lots of folks with many different tastes in music that cannot go more than 5 minutes without their stereo blaring "look at me, my music, I am cool!"

If the music is that important to life as you know it, invest in a set of headphones and spare the rest of the world who are hoping to enjoy a peaceful day on the water.

I don’t know that I would gaff them. Kinda hard to deny intent with a gaff in your hands.

Just bait a trebble hook with a Cheeto or two, and toss it their direction. Guaranteed gut hook.

Agreed, except that it does seem that people that have absolute crap taste in music tend to be the one to play it the loudest.

One reason I don't do "Sandbars". If I wanted to go somewhere and listen to bad music and have my wife ogled, I would just tow the boat to a Wal-Mart parking lot. I hit the water to get away from the crowds, not to find more of them. Plus, I hate it when people judge me based on how loud I can crank my Public Enemy and Eminem CDs.

Not a fan of anyone who thinks it's OK to blast their music. Grow up...

you owe it to him to explain that such music is as undesirable to women (desirable women anyway) as herpes or syphilis.

I seem to have outgrown the Sandbar scene, just not as attractive as it used to be. Bought a smaller boat that allows me to go places most of that crowd can't get to, much more peaceful and quiet. And if I decide to dip Au Natural no one complains.... "Cause there's no one there but ME!!

We love going to the sandbar but not particularly fond of the crowded places, weekends or loud music.
This is more like it.
