Default Computer problem Chrome

My
Chrome browser is now running off the side off my screen (right side). It's been doing that just a tad more every day, to a point where now I can no longer see a scroll bar on the right side (already fell off the screen) and I can't get to any system control icons on the top right. It is happening on my old HP but not on my Chromebook.

Help!

This is apparently an old problem but google search provided no answers that worked.

Can't you just drag it by the top bar until you see those controls, the drag a corner in to resize it?

I just spent an hour reading through the joke thread, so not sure I trust myself to answer seriously...

In the upper right corner, left of the "X", can you see if you are in full screen or partial screen mode?

If in partial, click on the square and the Chrome window should snap back to fill the entire screen.

Or, grab the top of the Chrome window (cursor in blank space at top of page, left-click and hold while moving cursor) and drag it back to where you want it. I've seen the same thing happen from time to time with Chrome on my laptop, don't know why.

[Ed. note] After reading a few hundred jokes in the "Bring Out Your Jokes" thread, I swear most of the posts on this site started looking like part of another joke...I keep looking for the punch lines. Don't believe me? Read a few hundred jokes and then this thread:
Do you disable some of the safety things on your tools, mowers, etc?
Or, the thread about the agitated beaver.

I can only drag it right to make it worse It will not move left.

Any chance your computer display adapter has gone into dual display mode and thinks the rest of your browser window is on another display?

A system restore would certainly fix that.
