Stop. It's not even funny. If someone needs help, they need support. The fact they're even asking requires a lot of courage.

yes, there is outpatient rehab. Detox if your sick enough. You can’t and should not do any of it alone or you WILL fail. Strike while the iron is hot, or you will be right back where you started, or worse. Make the choice, and go! Life will be 1000% times better

ps. Do not listen to the ney sayers.

Sounds like your mind is made up. Fingers crossed for you. If you don't have a good experience with your first choice. Don't just give up, keep looking until you find a place that fits. The fact that you posted here and said you are ready, speaks volumes about your potential. Good luck!

Due to my job, I can’t miss more than 7 to 10 days and would really need to be able to work from wherever I go

Maybe check with Knights of Columbus. Or possibly Catholic Human Services? Some offer weekend programs.

When I was 30 years old I saw where I was headed. I simply could not handle my alcohol. I did not have an off switch. I knew that to keep from screwing up very badly I had to quit. But I really liked it. I liked and almost needed the escape. I quit and haven't missed it at all. My life has been so much richer and so much better since. I can still act like a damn fool and raise hell with the best of them though! PM me if you need anything bud.
