Anyone else watch it? Is Floyd going to win it for the USA?

It's been fun keeping up with the tour this year...Everything boils down to that big time trial this morning. Since this is his specialized event,I think he can overcome that 30 sec. deficient which would give him the tour victory. This is his to win or lose!!!! Can't watch today, I'm at work however I'm going to check in on the net every now and then.

If Floyd does win he would indeed be The "Grand Peche" of France!

8 years in a row for an American winning

Now Landis can go an get his hip replaced. What a tough cookie

I enjoyed the race more this year than any year in the past.

I'm glad Floyd won but come on, no Lance and then the top 3 riders weren't even in the race.

Maybe they wouldn't have been the top three if they did it straight?

...speaking of drugs:

"Tour de France champion Floyd Landis tested positive for high levels of testosterone during the race, his Phonak team said Thursday on its Web site.

The statement came a day after the UCI, cycling’s world governing body, said an unidentified rider had failed a drug test during the Tour.

The Swiss-based Phonak team said it was notified by the UCI on Wednesday that Landis’ sample showed “an unusual level of testosterone/epitestosterone” when he was tested after stage 17 of the race last Thursday."

It's a little too early to take away the win,

"The U.S. rider will ask for a counter analysis in the coming days, it added. The B sample test will be again carried out by France's national anti-doping laboratory at Châtenay-Malabry. A positive "A" sample is only the first step in the process and does not constitute proof of any rider's use of performance-enhancing substances. "

I thought he was a clean rider !! .......if he is convivted he dosen't deserve the WIN !!!
