Default Windows 10 help?

Want to start looking at prices for airline tickets, Hotels, etc. for our Washington trip next year! Was told once by another THT guy who's really a computer genius that unless I re-configure my computer for my searches being "Incognito" I think that's the word he used, I run the risk of the airlines changing the cost on me as I search. Really didn't understand it fully, but he said if I don't set my computer to "some setting where they can't see you" those sites I compare will keep manipulating the prices as I search.

How do I do that?

As always....Thanks!

Use a browser like Mozilla Firefox. Under file click on "new private window" This allows you not to get cookies, beacon and trackers send from the sites you go to.

If you use the Google Chrome browser, click on the 3 dots in a vertical line that appear near the upper right corner of the screen. Then click on "New Incognito Window".

keep in mind they may still track your ip and use regional data to price your tickets... i.e they know 66.223.92.113 is searching multiple prices

and while in Chrome, use Control+Shift+N as a faster way to go incog

LOL...Bayfisher92

Have pity on me, the first chemo bills are starting to roll in, $28,765.72 per treatment. We owe 30% of each one, there' a total of 9.

You may have to wait a tad bit for your money!!!
