I keep my Yeti concealed on my boat, because don't want want anyone who says they "suck" to steal it.

It came with the boat, what can I say?

I have a few Yeti's too, and love the way they do the work they were built to do. But with Yeti getting into politics, I will not buy another yeti product. Nor will I ever purchase a Starbucks product or insure anything with Progressive. My choice, my money. Quality of the Yeti's are great though. And if I get a comment like the OP got, the guy/gal saying it will never forget the reply I would give them....

And no, I did not put the stickers anywhere but in the trash can.

I never tell people how they should spend their money. Guaranteed that those people who criticize you for spending so much on a Yeti have spent the same or more on some things people other than than them would consider ridiculous.

I have a 350 as a coffin box. Might be expensive but cheaper than an actual contender coffin box. Have hoppers, smaller yetis, tumblers, etc. My money, my cooler, their problem.

Not drilling any holes in my deck for cooler tie downs is worth the money. My yeti 160 has only moved a couple times on deck and it had to be real sporty for that to happen.

I don’t keep beer or food in it when offshore, just ice. It does the job great. The 160 holds enough to properly ice down a giant bluefin... and when removed from the boat leaves no trace. I’d buy another if I needed it.

Bull. Shit. I was fighting a sailfish and had a Yeti 350 almost take my legs off. I saw it sliding across the deck of the 45' Hatteras I was on just in time to get out of the way. It was stacked 4-6' but still, that thing will slide.

I don't know, my 160 full of ice and bait didn't move in 3-4's..I also have a teak deck though so that helps.

Did the owner have the rubber or plastic feet on it?

No Idea. Was on a charter and saw it in my peripheral and got out of the way just in time. I know my experience is a rare occasion, just a heads up that it can happen.

" my coleman was 1/8 th the price yada yada"

I just don't get it, its a freakin $650.00 cooler, overpriced? probably . I bought it with my money !! I like it.
I love the looks of it on my boat, I love the build, I just love it. Yup, I wax it too. what is the problem ? I wax my boat too, and my car.
whats up with these people ??? like the rest of our boating stuff isn't overpriced? Better yet, why do people care?? Go buy 100 walmart coolers I dont care. I have my coleman 110 for 10 years, great cooler for the price...ok cool
Just annoying how a damn cooler can get so many snarky comments.
Pics or it didn’t happen. The arrogance displayed over the purchase is mighty ‘trollish.’

I was going to buy a yeti cooler but instead I gave the 600 bucks to my preacher. He needs another jet.

This forum is loaded with people who don't approve of other's marine purchases. You basically have to own a 24 degree dead rise center console by a top company otherwise you got the wrong boat. Then you got the guys who will say you got the wrong motor especially if it's grey. That gator guy has it backwards.

So, I am not surprised people are questioning your purchase of a $600 cooler. Hey dude, it's your life, your money and your choice. You buy the Yeti. You go boy, enjoy it. Who gives a crap what other people say?

So I guess bragging to all the guys on the dock about your cooler wasn't enough for you. You had to go out to the internet and brag to complete strangers, that not only do you have a Yeti 160, but you spent $650 to buy that Yeti, and that amount of money is no big deal, and your yeti is so perfect you wax and polish it.

Hmmm can't figure out why people are giving you a hard time.

If some asshole had the balls to tell me I bought an overpriced cooler that his $30 Coleman could match I'd tell him to drill a 1/4" hole in his beloved cooler and **** it.
