Default My key's trip

Just wanted to share my trip and give a shout out about another THT member . Just spent some time in Islamorada fishing and having a great time. We rented the first floor apartment from mark and his wife and also chartered him for a couple trips. he has a hell's bay flats boat and is a terrific skinny water flats guide. He has great knowledge of the backwaters and lives to sight fish. We caught a ton of fish and were put on lots more that we either couldn't get to eat or made poor presentations to. The action was pretty much non stop. The house rental came with the pool , hot tub, and a dock on the canal. Rented a 23 foot center console from vacation boat rentals that we kept on the dock. They were fantastic to rent from and we caught multiple offshore species on our own . Dock was less than ten minutes from the overseas bridge. Anyone who wants to have a great time fishing and relaxing , you should contact mark, he is great. You can pm him @

I thought this thread was about somebody's car keys getting lost and ending up in Almo, Idaho.

nice trip. we did it a few years ago for a week(not with Mark) and it was the best vacation ever. 3 couples, rented house on canal in Sugarloaf. we hauled my 22 Pathfinder down and just bumped around and did it our way. can't wait to do it again next year.

A week wasn't enough, next year two weeks, and you can bring your own boat and tie it right there in his canal. I live to far away to bring our boat, would add four or five days.
