I found this writing on a piece of paper in the bottom of a lamp I got from Target.
I'm no expert. Is it Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese? Anybody know what it says?

"On your deathbed you will receive total consciousness."

So you've got that going for you.

Says it's only to be removed by the purchaser.

My first thought was it was some kind of cry for help. I mean it wasn't exactly easily found in the lamp. I was tearing the damn thing apart when I found it.

I guess the real question is, what made you tear apart a lamp you just bought?

I've had the lamp for years. I was just trying to fix the broken plastic neck.

So - it appears that the "assembler" MAY have played a round of golf with the Dalai Lama?

My guess is it says, "assembled by #723"?

On 2nd thought, I think it says, "#127 Egg Foo Yung"?

Regards,

It says, This lamp is for indoor "home" use only, not to be used for commercial purposes. I can't make out the rest.

(I can't make out any of it, but I saw the symbol of a house midway through and came up with what I did.)
