Sen. Todd Young announced that "he and his team" are in contact with the Governor and local authorities, and they have his (and his team's) full support.... Sooo thank God for them.

You know, this shit is getting scary. Couple the copy cat school shootings and the fact that the public school systems are not teaching accountability for kids behavior makes me sick. Public schools where I live are an absolute joke.

Fry the parents. Why aren’t their guns locked up?

This hit home for me. I was working with a buddy today when we had noticed a bunch of cop cars go flying past, about 10 minutes later a chopper flew over very low. About 5 minutes after that he gets a text from the school saying there had been a shooting at his kids school and all the students were being moved to another school location for pickup. Very sad times we live in today. The teacher is a hero!

And after all of the previous events, why are there not metal detectors at main entrance to every f'ng school by now. It's a f'ng joke!!
Enough is enough!! This is not about guns, now!!
Its about people who are sick and need help.

I mean, look at the last shooting that happened in Sante Fe. Kid comes to school in a f'ing trench coat, in May, in TEXAS, and no one thinks that's f'ng suspicious???!!

And thank God that teacher had the balls to tackle the shooter! Man is a true hero!!!!

Hero indeed. Played defensive end in college. From the looks of him the shots probably just pissed him off.

for the record, wand type sweeps in the hands of the average security guard are useless. They rarely, if ever, go below your knees.

Ive carried a 9mm into numerous concerts (in my boot) and passed right through being checked.

This. I have to go to courthouses quite frequently with my job. The ones around here are locked down tight with walk-thru metal detectors and a conveyor to view the contents of your bag. Usually two deputies at there to keep things moving along. Need to have the same security at schools to stop this madness.

During the last event a member posted something very pertinent.

There is a child (children) out there right now plotting this same thing. Parents get involved with your children, alert the authorities and get them some mental help!
