I know this was rhetorical but I'm gonna add to it anyway..... I'm handicapped (not handieffective or alternatively abled, just handicapped meaning I am physically less capable than normal bodies). Since I can walk I won't use the designated parking unless all the other spaces are far away from where I'm going or I will be carry something to or from the truck.

I also still get out and creep around at late / early hours. So yes, as you implied, we are out there at 2AM and no, your daughters are not safe because I wear a knee brace and have a blue placard.

I try to be sympathetic to those who are handicapped. I happen to work in a place of business that has multiple standard stalls in the restroom along with a handicap stall. Without fail nearly ever time I go in to do my business I notice people with no handicap bypass all the standard stalls and go straight to the bigger handicap stall near the rear.

Sure enough, one day every one was taken except for the handicap one so I took that one. I believe in that situation a non-handicap person is able to use it. And sure enough while I was in there one of the standard stalls became open and someone in a wheel chair comes rolling up while I was inside. It made it look as though I passed up a standard stall to use the bigger handicap stall. I heard him say out loud "I guess I am supposed to take a crap with the door open" (because he wouldn't be able to shut a standard stall with wheelchair inside). I felt bad.

So yeah, the moral of the story is to leave handicap areas open for those who need it because no matter how it may seem you never know when it may be needed.

The one thing that I noticed their are multiple empty spaces in the front of the store so why stop in the handicap area.in the first place.

This is why I don't party in Ponte Vedra... I do not want to get formally introduced to your MagLight.
