Default Where are the riots

If this were two white cops, they would have burned down the city, double standard

An elevator surveillance video caught two Pontiac officers beating up a suspect.

Prosecutors said officers Joe Brinson and Ed Lasseigne roughed up weapons suspect Mark Jones in a police headquarters elevator on July 1, and investigators said the assault was unprovoked.

Jones was not seriously injured. The officers have been suspended and face discipline from the department.

I saw that too, Kingair, and thought the same thing. Found it kinda humorous that it was two AA cops beatin' up a brotha. (African American - tryin' to be polite)

No riots - just two cops doin' to him what his momma SHOULD DONE when he was growin' up.

You won't see Jessie and the Rainbow Coalition or the NAACP conducting any press conferences on this one.......
Proof that most violence within an ethnic group is usually perpetrated by members of that group.

The headline does not even mention race; care to guess what the headline would be if they were the opposite race?

I wish they would start a riot. I need a TV and a new pair of shoes.

"They" is just you who think "they" are.

My query was made to give the benefit of the doubt to what otherwise could be construed as racist bigotry.

It is not about bigotry, but there would be a bigger outrage if these cops were white and they beat up a black suspect.

In DC the police cheif of Georgetown just got in trouble for saying that it was unusual to see black guys in Georgetown at 2 am (this being said after a guy had his throat slit by them). Actually what he said was a factual statement. Same as saying that it is unusual to see a couple white guys on the street at 2 am in Southeast.

This country will never be at peace with itself until we stop defining us as "them".

I have found that racial issues are much worse in many, if not most other countries I have worked in. The US is not perfect by any means, but from what I have found there are many other societies that are much much worse. The US is kind of unique in the reverse discrimination though.

Bigots come in all sizes, shapes, colors, creeds and both genders.

On my last review...

DIVERSITY: ABILITY TO EMBRACE AND ACCEPT OTHER EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS FROM DIFFERENT RACES AND CULTURES.

(My supervisor wrote...)

"Kamper has no trouble with Diversity. He is offensive to everyone."
