So,

You just like to watch!

Big black snakes there for sure.

I disrupted a pair of cotton mouths bumping uglies one time just like your pic. Yes, they will come at you. Flattened his head out like a cobra and raised up. I took off so fast I ran into the side of my truck with my shoulder.

I had two mate like that on my lawn. They were my pets. I hatches all 40 something eggs. Surprising the babies were tan with dark blotches. Black rat snakes are about the melowist snake there is. You can pick them up and wrap them around your neck. They wont bite. There body is shaped like a loaf of bread. They can climb right up a tree with deep bark by contracting and then expanding in between the bark and climb up and eat some baby birds or eggs which they love. I had mine tamed to eat raw chicken meat out of my hand and I would give them chicken eggs for treats. They would swallow the whole egg without breaking it and then crush it inside their gut, A few days later they would throw up a ball of broken egg shell.

Every house should have a couple resident black snakes. We do also.
