Default Scam?

I put an ad on Craig's list. Now I got an email saying there is 12 responses but I need to give my credit card info to access it. Didn't ask for it when I set up the ad?

Yes that is a scam. Craigslist users are free to communicate with each other directly.

Think about it. If you are the seller, what would possess you to give payment information? Definite scam.

No offense , but if you have to question if this is a scam, you seriously need to stay away from any buying or selling on the internet. You're a victim waiting to happen I think. Sorry man.

The OP has to be a troll. If not he must need instructions to breathe.

Wow... some of you guys are a little harsh. I only used Craig's list once before years ago. Didn't know if they are now charging for their services. I didn't give out any info, just came here for some answers.
Either way, thanks for clearing that up.
