Harbor freight may have crap but ...

If you play it right lot's of FREE crap LoL !

And the free crap is building up ! So now I can be " generous "

Tape measure , screw drivers . multimeters , microfiber cloths etc ....

all free with "any" purchase The other day I bought something for .99 cents and got a decent tape measure 1" x 25 feet ...

Since I get fliers at 3 address it's pretty awesome ... LoL

Hell the damn $39 compressor ain't half bad ! But I don't run it on my electric LoL It's for "helping" people with
low tires etc ...

i have tons of flashlights, multi screw drivers and multi meters. Don't forget the 20% off coupon, when I think about buying something at HF I automatically think in my head that the price is 20% less. There is a harbor freight right near where I work. I needed 4 large casters for a project so I stopped there everyday for 4 days and bought 1 wheel, got the 20% off and a flashlight every time.

Free crap and it's worth every penny!

A while back I got a free pack of AAA batteries. They don't last very long and I'm not sure of the actual voltage they put out either. I put a couple in a mouse and after a couple of days the mouse started acting up. At first I thought the mouse was croaking since it was 5-6 years old. Another day and it stopped working completely. As a last ditch effort, I changed the batteries and, voila', the mouse was all better.

I'm two for two on the volt meters. Both of them blew up when I tried to measure AC voltage on an outlet. I won't be getting any more of those.

I've got a couple of the tape measures. Decent enough for what a tape measure is supposed to do. I leave out on top of my tool box for people that need to "borrow" one.

Even their free stuff isn't worth the gasoline I'd use to drive to and from the place. And I live 4 miles from a Harbor Freight.

i buy the $15 grinders (4 1/2") two at a time. they come with extra brushes. they last as long as any dewalt i've ever had. their air tools are worthless. screw drivers and impact sockets are good too. the elec pumps are crappy and like said before the little compressor is ok to fill a flat tire every now and then, but won't run a nail gun or burr grinder.

I got two crow bars from them, they saved the day for the transducer removal job I had. They have these crowbars that are shaped like screwdrivers and I highly recommend them!!

I like my rubber hammer, their top of the line rivet gun, their measuring tapes;, their digital flashlights, and their storage bins for screws. and other things too.

Most of their stuff is decent if you know what you're getting into. Use it a few times on projects here and there....HF is great. Someone who uses the item day in and day out and buys at HF is asking for failure.

Their chalk line marker is working flawlessly for me, so far.
Wish that they had versions available that were filled.

The Pittsburg hand tools have a lifetime warranty. I was working on my brakes. Should have used a breaker bar but didn't have one. A 3' cheater bar and a lot of pressure and the ratchet teeth went south.
Walked in the store told them it was broken and they immediately got me a new one. No questions asked.
Craftsman is made overseas now a days. Probably in the same factory.
The tabletop band saw that I bought at HF a couple of years ago is identical to the craftsman I saw at Sears except the cover guards are a different color.
As I tell folks HF makes good disposable tools. Some is junk and some isn't bad for a tool that you will only use occasionally.
