Default hose lock?

Any suggestions on how to deter other boaters from "borrowing" my hose at the boat club? Drives me crazy when i rush back from fishing and i have to go walking around for my hose. I wouldn't mind anyone using it if they just put it back. I put my name on it this year, which should help.

Any kind of a clamp or strap that will slow these borrowers down?

There is an empty dock at the end of our pier where people wash boats that live on moorings. Honestly I might buy na extra hose and put it down there.

I bought one of these and cut a hole in the solid side with a hole saw that's big enough for the hose to pass through but not the hose fitting.

Same here but it's nozzles that disappear.
when my neighbors have divers or wash/ detail done they vanish
Now I put a zip tie figure of eight around the connection to the hose

Duct tape the hose to the faucet and nozzle to the hose. Too much work for most lazy buggers to undo.

Zip tie around the spigot, zip tie around the hose. Zip tie them together. Solved the problem for me.

Someone likes to borrow our hose at our restaurant, I ziptied it with a bunch of giant zipties to a 4x4 post. Problem solved.

Weld it to the spigot, then melt weld and remove when needed.
