Default Netflix Reviews and Recommendation

List what you have seen recently and would recommend.

Suspense Thriller Crime Murder Mystery

Collateral - see my previous review - 5*

Safe - 2 to 3 *

Decent acting (the guy from Dexter and some good co stars) and excellent overall storyline. Suffers from incredible coincidences, Dexters, horrible British accent. 8 50 min episodes

Retribution - 4*

Very Dark murder mystery with some unusual twists and strange family secrets Some overacting. Great creepy Characters - Takes place in rural Scotland .

The Rain 3*

Disaster / movie. Killer Rain. Very silly almost teenager horror but I love disaster movies.

Black Mirror. - 5* must see

Mostly distopian - mostly misuse of technology or runaway technology. 10 or so stand alone one hour episodes. Some below par but most 5*
Creepy far out stuff but very possible. Ted Kozinsky the unibomber would love it.

The Letdown 3

New modern frazzled Mom faces new life - funny at times clever not my genre don't know why I watched the whole thing. Makes fun of parenthood support groups and Very Australian sitcom. 10 or so 30 min each episodes.

Occupied 4* Russian quietly invades Norway Bad acting preachie but entirely possible international post Trump post / post American Empire World scenario

Wallender - 2*

Decent cop story troubled very un stereotypical cop-character but to slow and depressing - too Swedish

Taken 3 maybe 4 *

Spies drugs ex military special ops man becomes secret agency agent has sister kidnapped. Modern A team type episodes. Co star boss is a still hot Jennifer Beals!

Need suggestions for new Netflix Movies....

I watch mainly Documentaries. Check out Life Below Zero or Cold Water Cowboys if you haven't already.

Those two are pretty good...I am a documentary fan as well...

The last one I saw was six episodes of fastest car

Ozark Good first season, second season should be soon.
Godless. Western/Frontier series
The Ranch. Comedy series

All have been been pretty good.

I just finished season 1 and season 2 of USA Network series "Colony". It was much better than I was expecting. USA just started broadcasting season 3 last week.

I also watched "Jericho" series for the second time. It's a very entertaining series that makes me appreciate the 2A.

Black Mirror...that is one of my favorites too.

Im watching Altered Carbon now. It’s not as good, but has some crazy sci-fi ideas in it too.

Ok now I get your comments. Those are MY Reviews and ratings of some Netflix offerings, not Netflix reviews. Imbd, Rotten and Yahoo also do reviews on just about everything out there. To all: thanks for recommendations.

I really enjoyed the German series Dark on Netflix. Very atmospheric, unsettling feel set in several timelines.
