Default Weed wins over ice cream

Though I think if weed becomes legal/decriminalized then the sales of ice cream should go up.

Personally, I think cannabis sales are much, much higher than anyone might guess. I know of ZERO young people (late teens, early 20s) who don't smoke/vape cannabis. Zero. I know plenty who don't drink alcohol. Of the ones who smoke and drink, almost all would choose weed over alcohol in a heartbeat. Some of them are pretty smart and have practical, health reasons for choosing flower over wine.

Several friends of mine own gas stations and convenience stores. ALL of them say they sell far, far more Grabba Leaf, wrapping papers, and other pot helpers than beer and wine.

My conclusion is there are more people smoking/vaping weed than alcohol right now and that number will increase exponentially. This is the heyday of alcohol.

I see more old people that admit ti using (mostly edibles). Last month I was in a meeting were I was the youngest person and the rest were in their 70s. Each one admitted to using and one guy who is a retired surgeon swears it is useful for a number of ailments.

I don't think I know of anyone who hasn't smoked weed at one point in time. Used to smoke it back when younger, I don't smoke anymore as I get really lazy

Have plenty of friends who still do. Stupid for it to be illegal. Eventually it will be as these reefer madness dorks are out of office.

The moron level has increased with marijuana sales in Colorado. Brought in a ton of lazy ass freeloaders. Hit and runs are up. Probably better than the opioid epidemic that is so prevalent in many other areas but I hate what it did to Colorado. One of the reasons we are selling and leaving. And yes, I have and occasionally might still...

Let's see how it goes when the pot isn't enough for these people any more.

Know a guy that chews the gummy pot bears all the time. He just tore up a Brand new f 150 on the dealers parking lot, 8 K worth of damage. The immediate drug test cost him his job at the dealership. It is hard to detect these forms of pot and it can be easily consumed in plain site with no one detecting it.

Buzzed driving is buzzed driving. I think it is more common than people think and it's only going to get worse.

The pot has essentially been legal on the east and west coasts for several years. In Cali it was incredibly easy to get a medical prescription. In general I think the same common sense approach most responsible people have to alcohol if applied to pot means no huge impact on society. There appears to be evidence that young kids should not smoke it and it may impact brain development.

On the other hand there are assholes that abuse. It seems like everyday some multiple DUI offender gets in a wreck.
