Default Expediting Passport

So my passport is expired by a month and I need to travel in about a month. Has anyone used any of the passport expediting services with good results? I found a few online, but trying to figure out if they actually work or not.

Thanks

I used travisa last year to get a Chinese Visa expedited in two weeks. They came thru but I was pretty disappointed in the customer service of the agent assigned to me...had to keep asking for updates only to find out he needed more paperwork and hadn't told me.

But they got it done. It's expensive but should be able to get yours renewed in time.

You can just about have one done while you wait in New Orleans. Usually an online form fill out, bring a picture and walk out of the office with the new one. Pretty sure I renewed one in a couple days a few years back.

Call and talk to them. It will cost a little extra.

Go online, do it yourself. It's not rocket science...

I got one in a day, just got to show up.

TDS. Travel Document Systems or Travel Document Services - can’t remember which.

it ain’t cheap, but if you need a passport or visa quick they can deliver. Have used them several times as have my colleagues.

Ditto, your Passport can be expedited directly by yourself. You do not need to pay a third party to do this.

Just renewed ours. Go online, get the form, get your pic, write a check and send it in. We had passports and cards in less than two weeks. No extra fees or expedite.

What others have said, but don't pay someone else to do it.

Go to the courthouse with evidence that you are travelling on that date and they will do it for you.

Not that I know or anything, but they can even do same day ones

You can pay the govt. to expedite it, they have no problem charging you extra.

If your near a large city , look up your federal building , if within 3 weeks of travel I believe you can walk directly in and have it in a few hours for a fee of course , they will talk to you (bring prof of airline tickets/travel) and tell you to come back in a while ..

just used it here in Seattle for he same thing

I expedited a renewal a few months ago and it was done in exactly one week door to door.

I paid to priority usps to ship mine in and paid extra to ship back. Didnt think it’d be that fast but it was done in a week. Passport card came a few days later.

I did mine through a small town courthouse. Paid the expedited fee and paid for FedEx fee. In my hands in six days. No need for an outside service.

I used to use Travisa when I travelled a lot. Never let me down and I got a lot of 1 day visas. For passport renewal I have used them for quick turnaround too. However if you have the time you can go to the passport office and do it yourself. Quick turnaround is no problem just costs you.

Yep. You'll need to provide some proof of a trip, but if you've got a passport office nearby you can get it done in a quick trip.

Years back, I returned from vacation, and needed to travel to Canada. Found out that my passport was expired, and the trip was the following week. I had to bring a few documents showing the date of the trip, etc. Then made an appointment. Drove down to Miami on the day of the appointment, waited in line a bit, then turned in my paperwork and payment. They took my picture and told me to return in about an hour. Apart from the drive from Tampa to Miami and back, it was pretty simple.
