I didn't recall seeing a newer Lincoln sedan but there was one on display inside @ Costco. We have both been GM people but I was impressed by the Lincoln, very nice looking car. The SUV on this thread is also a very good looking vehicle. My wife has an 8 year old Cadillac CTS with 70K miles on it and we haven't even put brakes on it. It has been a perfect car so it's hard to change brands when the Cadillac looks good and has proven to be very reliable.

Whats the intended price point on this beast ?

With what I see every day in my high end service shop, that people in my area can't / won't take to the dealer because of their high maintenance issues / or per hour rates...
Focusing mainly on those European monikers - Volvo/Jaguar, RangRover, BMW, RR/Audi - they sure pay the bills....

Yes I know that...but since it has't been around in over 10 years, how can it be an update?

I personally think it looks great. To each their own.

If I had to guess, around 7K. The others in the unibody RWD class SUV have all been around that area. Plus this thing paired with the new 10 Speed and 2.7/3.0 TT or the 3.5TT. It should have no problem.

They haven't released any specs, but since it'll be RWD, I'd guess around 7K with the 3.5TT.

Not sure what you mean by that, I was merely asking if he knew about another engine that I didn't see mentioned in the article I read.

It's all speculation, but I'm imagining there will be a 2.3 turbo, a hybrid, and the 3.0TT and or 3.5TT. May even be the NA 3.3 V6.

I'm sure it'll have great power, the 3.0TT and the 3.5TT will definitely provide enough power to tow 7K.

Why do all these manufacturers put these ugly ass pop up stick on screen on the dash? That is a design trend that cannot die fast enough.

It looks like a crappy car audio shop glued a display on top of the dash.

It looks like Mercedes has finally gotten the hint and is moving the E class to integrated displays and went away with their ugly display..
