Default Citigroup opposes a Constitutional Right

Citigroup is putting new restrictions on how and when its corporate clients can sell guns.

The company said Thursday that it will bar companies that it does business with from selling guns to people under the age of 21 and require customers to undergo background checks for all firearm purchases.

Citigroup (C) also banned its clients from selling magazines and bump stocks

I don't know a State in the Union that does not require a back ground check to purchase a firearm. And I know of no one doing a private sale with a credit card. Actually this shows me just how uninformed Citigroup really is.

The Constitution doesn't protect you from this. The Constitution applies to the government.

With that being said, I'm glad I have a chase card.

Hmmm my Government Travel card is Citi. We have plenty of 18 year olds using guns on a daily basis. Maybe they should cut us off also.

So.....if I take my Costco Citi visa to a gun show and buy a handgun, the sale will be denied? How are they going to know who does and who does not sell to people under 21?

I prefer pictures over words.

My point, I won't be denied because of my age, but what about the seller....they won't do business with businesses that sell to under 21 year olds....that's the way I read it. Would they refused to honor the sale?

Maybe I do need pictures.

These are rules for corporate customers. If you buy from a Citi customer you need to be not buying a bump stock or Hugh capacity mag assuming you're 21, or Citi will refuse to do business with the FFL.

It's easy to say a particular reg does not apply to me, so why should I care. The following comes to mind

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Canceled Citi Card after 30 years.

Not sure if I even need a VISA card except for Costco (all they take but I could likely live without). Only use AMEX

Any need for VISA ?

Good VISA cards ?

Visa by far has the best rewards card, especially Chase cards.

Twenty-five years ago, I tried to open a checking card with Citi. They asked me for two pieces of ID. I gave them my drivers license and my concealed carry permit. They said no, they do not accept the FBI-approved concealed carry permit. I complained for a while about their stupid policy, all while digging through my wallet for another piece of photo ID. Crap, crap, crap! The only thing I had was my Blockbuster video card. "We take that!"

Morning Rapi.I cancelled em.
I can't believe how almost every single one of our most basic rights are being
bastardized by the mainstream media. And these left wing organizations.
Thru bullying their way thru the streets.and their media blitz .They feel they can take them away .
Look @ the organizers.
That'll tell you all. When my buddy came home in 74 he sported a new Tattoo
SAT CONG.
Boy was he ever right. Just didn't get to finish em.

All banks are against the Constitution. Shamed that .001% of the people know what money is and how the Constitution says it is to be created...
