My hearts out to you and your family. Have you explored any medicinal marijuana or hemp oils. Not as a cure but to help with nausea or stress?

Keep them coming cause they are working!
Thanks the scans show no change and they are telling me now that we may be looking at scar tissue. They want to continue treatment. I asked if a biopsy would tell and the NP told me yes so I need to talk oncologist about that and possible PET scan.

Dunno how I missed this update, but that is awesome news! Get that biopsy and PET scan and continue to be a vocal advocate for pushing to get things done!

Happy belated birthday! I hope you get to the point to have nothing else to do but yell incessantly at kids to get off your lawn, dammit!

Seriously glad to hear you're ticking the meter over again. Stay strong!

I am doing okay.. Started the new infusions in October and the first one whipped my tail.. Down for about a week.. Then I had the second one last Monday and I rebounded a little quicker.. I went back to work on Thursday, although I think I should have stayed home 1 more day.. But, I made it through..

Right now, my future infusions are on hold because of insurance.. It is the darnedest thing I have ever seen.. One minute it's approved, next minute it's not.. It's been going on for 2 weeks now.. So, now they are saying that they will for sure cover the first 2 infusion sessions, because they were approved in error.. LOL.. Future treatments have been denied but it is in appeal.. They are due to have a peer to peer review Friday.. Maybe I can have another expert on the panel deny the "needless" treatments.. Wanna know who that expert was the first go around??? An OBGYN.. And no, I am not kidding.. An OBGYN actually made an "expert" opinion overrule of my doctors at MD Anderson and my services were denied.. MDA ended up writing it off..

Evidently, the issue now is, the infusions I am having are catered to help my immune system, however, insurance is saying that I need to have at least 2 "major" infections, each requiring hospitalization, to get it covered.. So, they are trying to explain to them that I have B cell leukemia and that it had all but destroyed my immune system and this is exactly what they are trying to avoid by giving me the treatments.. An infection like like would likely take me out..

So, I am dealing with dumb and dumber..

How are you, Chris?

Kyle, Thanks for posting the update. That gives us the specific information we need to pray about. I’m gonna PUSH ( Pray Until Something Happens). Don’t give up. Have a blessed day!

Chris, did you get the biopsy and PET scan?
