What’s your drinking habits?

So, ya boaters like our beer and cocktails. What’s everyone’s habit? I was always a martini person in the evenings, but lately just have a few beers a night after work. On the Boat usually have a cold beer in the cup holder.
If I do a martini it’s usually Stoli vodka, one ice cube, a little dry vermouth, and touch of olive juice.
Having my daily beverages is worth it to me and something I enjoy. As long as I make sure it’s not going too crazy out of hand.
Any other boater beverage connesuers?

Friday night I have three beers at the Tiki Hut. In my earlier days I probably would have had 3 beers on the way to the Tiki Hut
An ice cold beer on the way in.

I've cut back a lot and usually just pour myself a pint when I get home and sip it all evening.
My preferred pint is Alberta Premium but really any whiskey is good by the time you're half done.

I have pretty much quit drinking and I can't remember the last time I was drunk. I don't know what happened but I totally lost my taste for alcohol. I used to love Bacardi rum and would pick up one of the small bottles on Friday on the way home from work, I think they are pints. I would buy a 1liter bottle of Diet Pepsi and drink about half of it and then pour in the pint of Bacardi. I really liked the taste and I looked forward to Fridays. One time I made myself a rum and Diet Pepsi and it didn't taste good like it always did. I thought it was weird so I took another swallow and I started to gag because it tasted so nasty. I don't know what changed in my body but that was 6-7 years ago and I haven't drank a drop of run since then. Maybe it was a mental thing because the hangovers had gotten really bad and I didn't have to drink that much to feel awful for the next 2 days. Now if we are out to dinner with friends or when we go to a party I will drink a couple of beers, I still like the taste of beer.....whew!
As was posted on here......I didn't lose any weight when I quit drinking. People told me I would lose so much weight.....it never happened.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to locate in the USA. I've never found it myself. Closest I've found is Old Potrero...it's another pure single grain rye. There aren't very many true ryes but it's a really nice flavour IMO. Notes of caramel and pepper.
Two oz over ice is a great sipping drink. You really only need another six or seven of those to stay relaxed for a whole evening, plus you can basically think of it as a donation to some kind of hepatologist charity.

Bud light when working around the house or on the boat.
Wine when I am in the mood for it with dinner while the fiance is having it too
Single malt on the rocks at a nice resturant or at home at night, used to drink a glass or 2 when studying.
Captain morgan or Jack Daniels if I want to get drunk.

Usually at least twelve beers on either a Friday or Saturday then one small drink consisting of bourbon with a cigar before bed. None during the week.

Shot of whiskey on the rocks, glass of wine with dinner. That's it.
cracked_ribs: have you tried Gibson's Finest? If so, how does it compare to Alberta Premium? I can get Gibson's at the store 1/2 mile from my house.

4-8 liquor drinks, once a week max, generally Friday evening. Almost always consumed between 5-9 pm. I've been on a gin kick lately, trying some good smaller batch local stuff. Jack rudys tonic syrup (also made locally) is a wonderful product.
Beers after playing sports with friends, or in the afternoon on the boat in the summer. Wine with dinner but only if the restaurant doesn't sell booze.
Never drink during the week.
