This lady is the real deal. Spanked the Broward county Sheriff in the rigged CNN "townhall" meeting show the other day. The sheriff was arguing for more power for guys like himself when she pointed out just how many law enforcement contacts (39) had been made regarding the shooter. He doesn't need more power, he needs to get serious about doing his job. He got defensive and tried to put her in her place and she wouldn't back off. And she did it while maintaining composure and presence.

I think this sort of negligence should be aggressively investigated and the reasons for dropping the ball aired out. Maybe he was understaffed, maybe he has crappy workflow in the office, maybe he needs to lose his job. Whatever the case it needs to get fixed.

Air Force didn't report the domestic violence conviction of the church shooter in TX. No heads rolled. This shooter wasn't followed up on after 39 separate contacts with law enforcement. No accountability with government types that don't follow the law/do their job. Needs to change.

BTW the 39 contacts statistic came from CNN's reporting.

Have to admit I didn't see the whole thing. Have zero appetite for all things CNN.

Those endorsement losses will cut both ways. I heard a news story this AM about certain companies that offered NRA discounts pulling their affiliation.

I'm watching........ And I'll vote with my feet and my $$, as will others.

It's a no-win for the companies in the crosshairs - either lose the libs pressuring you to dump the NRA affiliations, or lose folks like myself.

The average gun owner is more educated than the public at large. I like to think we wield more economic leverage. How many hotel room nights does a grad student in Berkeley rent in a year?

There is a retired cop, late 50s, that works by himself in a shop next to my shop. When all of the police shootings were being widely covered by the news networks, I asked him what he thought about the police shootings. His reply was that the shootings of unarmedpersons was due mainly to one thing: purposeful recruitment of unqualified officers who look good on paper but who are first a scaredy cat, and second a LEO. He said that while he was a cop, he watched as the "sissy pencil necks" slowly replaced the burly guys who weren't afraid of a scrap and looked like a cop. His words not mine.

I sent a nasty email to those,who pulled from the NRA. I don't spend any $$ with most anyway but they don't know that. They are asking for a boycott so shall they receive.
I'm sure it's tough to keep your composure when some little shit who can't gender identify think they are the voice of reason and humanity.
