Default Tropical Cyclone Gita (PICS ADDED)

caught us by surprise early Friday morning; roofs started peeling back and flying around the neighborhood. Trees and power lines down, power restored to my village last night around 9 or 10 pm....still no water. We are on top of a mountain, and there were a lot of line breaks that keep water from making it to the tank that supplies us. Storm took the hot water heater and the tent covering my boat; other than that, I came out ok. Stockpiling water is a good idea. If someone wants to set up a Go Fund Me so we can get off this rock, cool......or send CPT Nate

Went down and filled up the truck and all the water jugs today; still no water service. Every time they try to pressurize the pipe, they have more leaks. Got power to the shop today, lots of rusty tools to clean up.

Got a trickle through the pipes today, enough to get a "shower" for me and my wife, first one since Thursday, felt good. Water went out again sometime after that. There is a lot of recovering to do.
