I’m with motorjock 73. I’m glad I don’t wear the gun belt anymore.

On pace for 145 (if my math is right) for the year. That’s higher than last years number of 128. Hopefully the trend doesn’t continue.

We can only pray.... People no longer fear gunfights with the police.. it is like my dad, a little fear is sometimes a good thing..

Safe to say our country has gone to hell. Not going, we're there folks.

While I'm very saddened to hear about the police officers losing their lives, an emotion I experience even more so as a result of this is anger.

Would a deterrent be.......arrest perp, trial next day, televised firing squad execution 5 minutes after trial ends? Would that make these thug low-lifes think twice before committing these cold blooded murders?

Thank you for your service, sincerely.

There is no safe areas for a police these days, the way I see it. Unreal what it’s become. Stay safe out there.

I sincerely appreciate it..it has been my honor to serve my community and to work with some of the finest people that get little recognition for their hard work..

Sadly I don't think that would be a deterrent. These animals have zero respect for life including their own.

I've never seen such hatred towards Police Officers and authority in general. Breaks my heart and stirs some anger when I hear of their Line-of-duty-deaths. I did 34 years on the FD. Our hazards are quite different. We rarely get shot at. We get cooked or buildings fall on our heads....but it's not a result of someone's hatred.
I'm from a line of police officers. Grandpa, dad, nephew, cousin. Only one nephew is still a PO.
They remain in our prayers for protection.

I don't think these lowlifes have the ability to think.

Can you imagine how much LESS CRIME there would be if ALL the welfare and food stamp recipients had to be spayed after 1 year on government assistance ? And then cut off for life completely after 2 years.

You don't think they might just steal more so they don't starve to death?

There's not a day that goes by that I miss the uniform, not a single one...... No way in hell would I have anything to do with that profession ever again. The memories are worth a million bucks but even that wouldn't move me......
