So the morons on capitol hill change the rules part way thru the game. You can deduct energy credits, PMI and tuition again retroactive to 2017. So now to sift thru all the returns we've already filed...

Lucky you. We'll be waiting on those for a while yet. I wish 2 weeks.

Crap, done filed about at least 200 returns so far and while most of these will not have this stuff but some do .

Guess will be filing a few 1040X's.

Same here. I'm wondering about all the clients who I told energy credits expired so don't bother saving reciepts. When I got the bulletin yesterday I had 6 on my desk that were affected by the changes either for tuition or PMI. My first client today installed a new furnace that qualified.

For some reason every year my employer screws around with the 1095
This year they told me the payroll company said they have an extension until March 2
I received my 1095 last week from BCBS so idk whats with that

But yes I've submitted all of my documents to be prepared

I'm sure I will owe since that's how my taxes are planned so I'll be filing the day before they're due. I assume my accountant is aware of these changes but you do have the option to file an amended return. I believe the limit time currently is 3 years.
