I don’t see the issue. You are in their program that gives you a discount for monitoring. Part of that you have to do your part.

I think you are clueless.

A vehicle health report is run by you. Ford then knows mileage, and State Farm pulls it.

You can save more money in the other program mentioned.

Do you want a tinfoil hat.

Sounds like they need you to follow through on what you signed up for.

Did you not sign up for the Drive Safe and Save Program? I have never been signed up for something like this. I would assume you werent either.

You signed up for the discount. In order to get discount, you have to follow the rules.

Dont like it? Forget the discount and drop out of the Safe and Save Program.

I cant imagine signing up for something like this just to save a few bucks. No f'in way.

I guess my issue is that after 25 years of no cliams my driving record isn't adequate to qualify for a discount any longer. In order to receive a good driver discount well I have to be monitored as a child. I don't like it but I'm doing it anyways.

Have you shopped for insurance lately (ever)? I am pretty sure that if you have been with them for 25 years you will be shocked at how badly they are ripping you off.

This goes for most insurers, not just State Farm. They know that most people are too lazy to shop for insurance, so they reward loyalty by jacking your rates.

I was with State Farm for 20 years just because that's what my dad did.... Then one day I woke up and shopped for insurance and discovered that I was paying DOUBLE what I should be paying on both home and auto. My SF agent of 20 years just shrugged and said he couldn't do anything about it so I switched and now check rates every single year.
