Default Auto Tint

Put this in the FL section as well, but this young man is on a dead-line of sorts. If he doesn't have this done soon, the $$$ he's saved for the job will be stolen by his Mom, she's an addict....long story.

He's looking to have his 4-Runner re tinted and needs to know of a decent place in central FL. He goes to school at UCF, but lives in Sanford, any area is fine. He has saved $200, from delivering pizzas, I think that should be enough.

Thanks.

Mods, if you need to remove I get it!

Flying Window Tinters on 17/92 in Longwood or Velocity Tinting in Sanford near (Lake) Monroe Rd would be my recommendations.

Thank you!

Information for anyone interested.

Both places around $200 for install + between $75 - $150 for removal of old tint, depending on how tough it is to remove. I told him if he doesn't remove the old stuff himself we're going three rounds, with 4oz gloves.....little bastard took me up on the offer, told me to: Bring it on Old Man"

Had to eat crow, I taught him very well and he's 6ft 2inches & 218 lbs of solid muscle, he'd kick my ass unless I landed very quickly. Damn kids..

What vehicle? I just bought new tinting for my F150 but I also jusy traded the F150 in - go figure. At any rate, tinting is easy. Per chance, does he have a f150?

4-Runner, 2002 I think. I've already offered to help him with it, but I told him I would need a week or so, too busy now. He said he wants it done before Valentine's Day.
I told him either tackle it yourself by watching "You-Tube", or pay the $300 or so. Kids???

It's really easy and the hardest part is getting the glass CLEAN and LINT FREE. Lint free is the hard part. I've done a number of windows and after the first one (disaster) all went very well.

R U going over to watch the Falcon Heavy tomorrow?

Thanks for the input Jeff, fairly certain that's where he's going. I can only lead the horse to the water as they say....this one is strong in the stubborn and sometimes lack of brains debt. but...I still love him like my own.

He just needs to keep saving his money so he can get the hell out of there. Tint can wait.

Your preaching to the choir....his scum-bag of a mother has a very strong grip on him. When he was 13 she saved his life from the scum bag, ( now dead ) piece of shit sperm donar. I've done all I can with that regard, he feels he owes her something. What she needs is a one way ticket off this continent.

X2. I’ve used them for several vehicles. Never had a problem. Located on 17-92.

Why is he wasting his money on a tint? Golden rule...It is not how much money you make, it is how you spend it!
