Default Anyone owned or used the HF power drain cleaner?

I'm considering buying one of these autofeed drain cleaners and from what I read they sound like they work very well. One question is about the autofeed, is it worth spending the extra money to get the autofeed option or is it not necessary?

We have a problem area that was created when the county made us get rid of septic tanks and put in grinder units. Where the sewer pipe comes out of the house the plumbing company didn't put enough drop so the pipe gets plugged. It's strange because we can go a year with no problems but today it's plugged and it got plugged back in December so I don't know how it gets plugged sometimes and not other times?

In the summer I have an attachment that goes on my power washer to clear any clogs but the water hoses are frozen solid and it's a wet job. We have used Roto Rooter several times at a cost of $185/visit so I figured I may as well just buy a machine and do it myself.

On a side note about Roto Rooter, they are great to work with. They show up when they say they will and they don't try to run up the bill.

I used one for years. Easiest thing you'll ever use.

Do you have the unit with the auto feed?

I will probably do this tomorrow since it's so cheap. I want to have one here so if the stupid pipe plugs up on a Sunday evening I want to be able to clean it out.
