I really frown on any sunscreen when fishing. Don’t want the stink on the bait. Spray sunscreen anytime. Spray it in the parking lot then leave it. Makes the deck slick like everyone else has said.

Most of what was said above and then:

All the extra gear your guests bring thinking he has all the tackle stuff plus 5 fishing rods. Most of the time the hooks are rusty and the reels need work. If I invite you I have the gear.

I used to not care, still dont really but got one cherry into the face too many. Its turned into if boat is moving, no smoking, if you are gonna smoke when trolling do it downwind from me and im usually close to the stern.

You can only smoke cigarettes if you bring two cute brunettes. No fried chicken and cheetos they attract all the mosquitoes.
OK - you win the internets - just for today tho

No bananas, booze, or drugs.
Guns are fine, we all carry.
No apologies however small as there are no strict rules on my boat with the exception of one, if I say sit down or hold on, do it without thinking or you might find yourself on your butt.
Lastly for the younger set don’t even think about handheld video games. Cellphones are ok though to take pics and text friends showing them the fun.

After reading this thread I'd say a lot of you aren't allowed on my boat haha. I do agree with people that over indulge in any sort of substance. Ive had friends that have gotten wayyyy too drunk and then think they are automatically invited and have invited their own friends which is not cool. I get the spray sunscreen, I really hate cigarettes but if you are down wind on the stern I'm ok with it. But it's a boat, if you are invited I want you to have a good time. Enjoy yourself and don't do anything stupid or obnoxious.

Cell phones can come on the boat but get turned off and locked in a pelican box before we get to the first spot. I work very hard finding and protecting productive fishing spots so that people fishing on my boat have a good time. Allowing folks to take fish pics with their cell phones or gps enabled cameras is a great way to give your favorite waypoints away.
