Thatís my point. When someone dies young most of the time regardless of what the narrative is itís not natural.

When I saw the little 6 or 7 year old girl from down the street (who used to bug my grandmother all the time) get her 6 or 7 year old child out of the back seat of her car. I was in my late 30s. That was 20 years ago.

Another way you know you are getting older, maybe not an adult, but older, is when you start take your Dad (or Mom) fishing instead of them taking you fishing.

I had no idea there were so many of us younginz here! I like to think that I'm still young but just today I passed up beers and football to clean out my rain gutters as it may rain tomorrow.

When I went to my 20 year reunion, I hate seeing old friends as many have not aged well. A month ago at a football game I see an old guy staring at me and then realize it was my best friend from highschool.

I remain active and play sports so that at least helps.

Sorry for your loss. Did the same thing 6 years ago at 44, grew up a bit that day.

There are two days in a man's life that he grows up. The day you become a father, and the day you no longer have a father. Unfortunately those two events were about 6 weeks apart for me last year.

At 50 I am still caught off-guard when someone refers to me as Mr.
My father is still alive so I consider him the Mr. in the family.

Don't feel 50, don't look 50 in spite of the fact I partied my ass off until I was in my late 40s.

Whether it be a lack of maturity or just extended youth(fullness)... I'll take it.
Know a few guys my age and younger who take life way too seriously and look and act beat-down.
I don't wanna be or end up being that guy.

When I turned 30. To me there was no such thing as a 30 year old kid. I started noticing there were a lot of young people at the local watering holes and I had no idea who they were. Many were friends of cousins that are 10 years younger. I was becoming the old guy.
