Default Odor removal help - UPDATE

Hey gun owners, need some help. I spilled half a bottle of Hoppes #9 Powder Solvent on the floor of my truck, in the carpet of course. Got any idea how I can get rid of the odor now?

Once it dries out maybe an ozone generator or boil a pot of coffee in the truck with windows closed. But I would just enjoy the smell!

I left some garbage in my Macan in the summer for a couple months.

I forgot to throw it in the dumpster on the way out of town.

Tried all the usual tricks.

Sent it to the auction....

Now Hoppes #9 smells better to me.. so...

Leave it. It'll help cover the smell of any strange perfume.

Oh honey, that's just the smell of the carpet cleaner I tried to get the gun oil smell you hate out of the carpet.

Ha, expected this reply and, am seriously considering just that! That smell is ok in small doses, but this is a little too confined of an area so it's a bit much. Well, if i can find the right buyer maybe it will help with resale value.

Yeah, already scrubbed carpet and shop vac'd for about an hour. It's a little cold here for open windows now, but they have been down as much as possible.

Spill a couple tablespoons of Kroil on the carpet also and hang a box of patches from the mirror.

Bought my first z71 in 97. 1years used with 40ish on the odmoeter. GM employee that traded for a new one every year. He smoked a pipe. I mightve paid a bit more for my current ruck if it came with that smell again.
