Never been a fan, but my wife is. She went and saw it and said it was okay. She got irritated when she tried to get me into the first one and I fell asleep! Just not my thing.

Saw it. Paid to see a Star Wars movie and got one. These shows are a comic book as a B movie with good effects. I liked it well enough. There was no Academy Award winning performances.

You seem more like an SG-1 kinda guy.

Reason - Disney ain't George Lucas

Sinjun and cwhite6 agree with us. Pretty good company, I think.

I got that one! Hilarious!!!

If the rest don't get it, well, maybe they should watch more pop sci-fi.

INHO most not all movie updates are about rehash of the same thing.

Saw it tonight. Another shameless Disney money grab. Speaking of which, I see they have an Incredibles II and another Avengers coming out soon.

There will be a new trilogy to explain that, don't worry!

I'm not saying episode VIII was a bad movie. Just not a great one. Just rehashed a bunch of old ideas ... but episode VII did as well, just a bunch of old ideas but it was an exciting movie with great visuals and the story was good enough to leave you asking many questions and wanting to see the next movie.

With episode VIII I'm pretty sure I know whats going to happen next movie. Kylo is toast, Rey is the new Jedi Master and the rebellion, currently in an impossible predicament, rebuilds and dominates the first order. Then of course, they'll leave the door open for another trio of movies, a new Sith lord and apprentice.

Huge fan of Star Wars. This movie sucked. Even my 9 year old son said when we got into the truck it was so so. Kylo Ren needs to evolve into a respectable suit. I was hoping to reconstruct the old Darth Vader costume to the original Mcquarrie conceptual Vader.

That will be the only thing Disney can do to save my thoughts of having them at the helm.

Saw it last night and was rather disappointed. What’s with the attempt at being funny? It wasn’t funny and Star Wars isn’t a comedy...

And they tried way too hard with the old characters, almost like they didn’t want them in there but used them to appeal to the traditionalist fans.
