Default PUI in THT

Oh my I was so guilty of this about one week ago...kinda do not remember the moment. 69 yrs old...live alone with my rescue dog. Went to a bb ball tournament today to see my youngest granddaughter play. Had a ball. On the way home stopped to get a large SKY. Was gonna go out to dinner but not going to happen. Alcohol abuse is tough. Any of my fellow boaters dealing with this?

I like alcohol. I do NOT let it interfere with family or work. If you think you have a problem, ask yourself the question

I'll let you know in about three hours.

I like my beer but if I'm drinking I typically have better things to do than sit in front of a computer.

Sounds like you have a problem.

I'm all for imbibing and having a good time and don't look down my nose if someone gets a little slicked up every now and then (that would make me a hypocrite), but if you are thinking about it enough such that you are posting about it, then you may need to take a step back and reconsider how much you're drinking.

I haven't bought a large Sky since college...actually that was probably Popov.

Not being critical of you, just saying your priorities may need adjustment at 69 years old (or any age really) if you can't go out to eat because you are too inebriated.

Edit: are you talking about SKYY vodka? That's what I assumed but maybe SKY is some newfangled thing.

Can someone define abuse when it comes to booze?

That might help frame the theories.

I never drink too much, only just the right amount!😃 Beer I handle no problem, but if I get into the vodka or other booze, definitely need to stay put!

Consequences.

Weight gain, trouble with the law, arguments with family about alcohol intake, medical problems induced by booze, injuries caused by booze...

...basically everything kids do in college but should have grown out of.

We generally purchased the stuff that rolled UNDER the bottom shelf.

If it came in a fancy glass bottle it was way too high falutin.

I used to know a guy that could kill one of those 1.75ml Sky's every two days and function perfectly.

So what is a PUI, and what is bb ball? And why do you need a rescue dog? You really should stay away from boats, or alcohol, or maybe both.

The first step to recovery is admitting to THT you have a problem.

Try switching to weed. Way cheaper, no hangovers, less habit forming, no getting sick and the half life is 3ish hours so you can wait it out and drive.

Worst side effect is waking up for work after the best sleep ever.
