I just bought a used 04. I am sticking with that. mysportrac.com has helped me alot. the new 4.6 is supposed to be nice. The 4.0L gets me around town at 20-21MPG. Iwouldn't tow with it.

I tow just fine with my '02, my boat and trailer weigh about 4500 pounds, have trailer brakes, it could use some more guts accelerating on the highway, but otherwise tows fine, Had to pull the boat out at low tide this past weekend, I was impressed pulled it out with ease..

Just would like to have the 4 X 4 and V 8 for a bit more guts...

I see your point. I am spoiled with my wifes Expedition. I can also see the whole guts thing on the highway. From that trac site the new 07's are just starting to come down with the ever cool sliding down rear window....the first 07's didn't have that feature. Keep me posted.

Humm That's weird Bronco, my 2002 has a sliding rear window, great for visability while reversing with the boat... I thought all ST's had that feature?

I went and talked to the dealer today, out the door price with taxes etc. works out to be about $34,500, of course that's the best equipped one they have... but OOUCH!! Told my buddy salesman, "I think I'm gonna wait"!! My '02 is fine still, but I sure would like the 4X4 and V8..
