Although there is no bad Chris Stapleton,one of my very favorite voices and writers in the industry,
Im still way more partial to his older stuff than today’s newer.
This happens a lot with me. I really like an artist and when they get popular I still love the stuff that drew me to them in the beginning.
I heard Chris years before the CMA figured out how good this guy is.
His early recordings with the steel drivers and a few things like this track are still what I think of.

I may have posted this earlier in the thread but it’s worth putting it up again.
