Default Thanks for the thoughts and prayers/care package ideas

My nephew came through surgery on Tuesday well, today he is up and walking (a bit) he goes home tomorrow as long as there are no setbacks for 2 weeks of rest and reoperation before his treatment starts.

He lives in Minnesota, I in NJ , so until I can visit I was thinking of sending him a care package of sorts. Only thing is, what to enclose?

He's 30, likes guitars so some new strings a handful of picks and assorted other items are easy, what else can I send a 30 year old guy that'd he'd like? Dry foods are easy and was thinking of some east coast hot dogs but not sure where to get dry ice for foods like that.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Thanks again for al the prayers and well wishes, the long term prognosis isn't great but we're hoping.

Send him a note and tell him that you're thinking of him. Some other suggestions may be shaped on his disease/condition, etc.

I'll keep on praying. That's pretty scary stuff IMHO.

Yes after 2 weeks of rest he will be getting very localized treatments, he can't have it in general because he had it as a kid.

Along with all the useful stuff, maybe send him some stupid stuff in the box also.

Maybe like a little silly stuffed animal or one of those squeezy stress reliever balls or maybe a little poker game. Just something for a little smile maybe.

Good luck and blessings to your nephew and his family.
