Default LED lights for my boat shed

I've got a boat shed (very small pole barn) where I store my boat.

I live in a residential neighborhood and this shed sits at the end of my driveway quietly violating my HOA's rules about free standing buildings.

My boat slips in and fits like a glove. I've got about 3" of clearance on the top in parts and I can pass the sides if I turn sideways.

I currently have a 2 floodlight set up with a motion detector. Works "okay" but I need more light for when I'm working on my boat.

I'm thinking about going to LED's with a motion detector. Any suggestions? Comments? Thanks.

LED's are brighter and less power

We changed motion detector light over garage to LED from halogen and MAN what a difference . It is a whiter and brighter light

Don't they make LED replacement bulbs for your floodlight fixtures? Could be that simple.

Yep and for cheap. I just replaced my bow and stern light bulbs on my flats boat, huge difference and less battery.

Ok, I'll probably will just get the LED floods but if I want to supplement with a non motion detector LED outdoor overhead - what kind?

Thanks for the replies.

Why not just something like this?

Kind of just straight up shop lights. I have a bunch in my workspaces. Turn on quickly and seem nice and bright compared to regular bulbs and not that you have to suffer it but when it's really cold the normal lights would take a while before getting bright. These LEDs come on instantly.

Good luck.
