Funny this came up...Last year My Wife's High School had a multi year reunion..Found out about it from an Ex neighbor that came from PA. to attend at the last minite. Asked Wife if She wanted to go and She said ,Nope. Well,by that time I had drank a few Beers or two........I told Her that I was going to go to it if She didn't mind! She was good with it,as it was only a couple blocks away from our House..

I went and had a Great time!!! Didn't know but a few People there,Knew more of them by the time it was over! This year they had another one....S.O.B. if I didn't miss it by a week!! ...Read about it in the paper a week later!

Reunions are where you get to validate your life decisions, and lord it over those who didn't make good ones. It is a uniquely personal experience. I'd stay home.

Wife and I never go to each others - I'd say maybe half bring their wives/others. Some bring fake trophy wives that are in their 20's. That's always fun also. Didn't go to my 50th - not sure I ever liked most of those folks in the first place.plus last time I went I got depressed hearing all the how I dodged the draft stories. Some really looked old too. Could also be a place to hook-up with old flames or at least hear the how they always really wanted you stories

You didn't go with her? How could you disappoint your wife like that? I'm sure she wanted to show off her trophy husband!

My wife wanted me to go to her 20 year reunion so I agreed to go. I thought it would be pretty bad but it was even worse than I thought it would be. We didn't go to the same HS so I didn't know a single person. Wife went to talk to all of her friends and left me at the table with one guy. As I am sitting there I'm thinking how could this get any worse.....then the guy gets out a harmonica and asked me if I had any requests. He starts to play something and he is really in to it, dancing in his chair and swinging back and forth like Stevie Wonder. I have no idea what song he was supposed to be playing, he wasn't nearly as good as he thought he was. OMG now I knew how this could get worse. I felt bad for the guy and didn't want to get up while he was playing a concert to me and leave him alone.

I searched for my wife with my eyes and I see her with a couple other girls staring at me and harmonica man and laughing their asses off. The guy was a real weirdo in HS and obviously still is, my wife and her friends just thought it was hilarious that he was playing for me! I couldn't stand it any longer so I walked up to her and asked her what time she wanted me to pick her up cuz I was leaving.

I asked her to NOT come to my 20 year reunion but she did anyway.....she didn't have much fun and never asked to come with me to another one.
