Default Amazon click it buttons

Anybody use these things? Is it worth it and is it more expensive than just logging on and shopping yourselves?

I don't have the actual buttons as I know my 4 year old would hit them and order things. I do have the 'dash' buttons on my home page on Amazon and they are useful.

I'm a big fan of Amazon and order from them frequently but I don't use the buttons. For repeat orders it's easy to go back on my old orders and just reorder.

Useful for things that you periodically run out of in an inconvenient place. For example we have a button down in the basement by the cat's litter box. My wife presses it and a 38lb box of litter is on out doorstep in a day or two. Maybe not the cheapest option but competitive enough and totally worth it for us.

We use them for a few things. You pay for it but once you use it, I am pretty sure you are reimbursed for it. I also thing their are safety features that prevent more than one order in a time period so you dont have to worry about someone hitting the button over and over.

I just say "Alexa, order coffee". Doesn't get much easier than that.

The 2 issues I have with them and I by a lot on Amazon (200+orders per year). The price fluctuations on items on the last year. Second I have been seeing free shipping on items (not prime) that are significantly cheaper. For example yesterday I bought two extension cords for $20, not prime but free shipping. Same items "prime" $28.
