Default Missile Strike Announcement. What would you do?

Evidently when NK sent the missile over Japan some sections of the country were told to take cover and that Japan could be under attack. I guess a lot of people were freaked out for a little while. I was wondering what the reaction would be if it happened here.

Take cover and ride out the blast. If the blast doesn't kill you, gather family/important possessions and head in the opposite direction of the prevailing winds. Chances are your vehicle won't work due to EMP, so it'll be a long walk.

The national reaction would be hysteria. Plus a lot of ohhhh's and ahhhh's as the people in the Midwest get to watch our ICBMs rise into the sky and turn westward.

I'd hunker down in the house for a bit, but probably go to parents' place on the water out in the country, so to say...I've got water filter good for about 4k gallons and enough freeze dried food for 4 people for about 2 months or so plus what's in freezer/fridge/pantry. Other than that, clean my guns and load the mags

Collectively, most wouldn't notice, to busy looking at FB.

What, no mention of taking your pet rocks with you? You're going to abandon them?

Those are strategically placed along the path to the parents' place! X doesn't mark the spot in this case

In grade school they made us go into the hall way and sit facing the wall with our coats over our heads.
