Default Stressless chairs

Wife and I are going to replace the old Lazy Boys. Sat in these tonight at the furniture store. Pretty dang comfortable, but I'm not sure they were $1800 per chair comfortable! Hearing that they are good for bad backs, and last forever.

What says the group?

Ekornes? That's on the lower end of their price point. I picked up four of them a couple months ago. They are pretty nice overall but with them commonly running 2600ish to 3600 per chair retail they would have some trouble arguing the value versus many other brands/versions.

I almost never give free endorsement of products, but.....
Purchased two @ 10 yrs ago , have not been to the Chiropractor since.
Most comfortable chair, however the foot stools have structurally failed.
Gorilla Glue made it right.

Love my Stressless Magic Large...had it about 3 months and wouldn't trade it for anything! Just bought the "lift" to make it a bit higher and it's even better!

These were the "Garda" model which were selling for $500 off of retail. I think they do fall on the lower end of their price point.

I have two. They typically have a sale March/April every year. Bought one on Craigslist the other at Retail on sale. Great chairs with a lifetime warranty on the frames.

I have seen Ekornes chairs that were repaired for $1500.00.

I have owned 2 of them purchased brand new back in 91'. You get what you pay for.

I have one for three years and I do like it. Looks great, holding up well and is comfortable. Is it magic on my bad back? No. Was it worth the money? No. Jmo

Wife wanted one for our RV, to replace the POS that came with it. We bought it in Tampa about 10 years ago. She loves it, and 'owns' it. I think I have sat in it twice.
