I have a guy that I won't ever go out on his boat again. He drinks all day everyday of the week. When he is in his boat he is like Blackbeard and a complete a-hole. Two occasions come to mind, one was we were going out the main channel to the lake and there are always bass fisherman fishing in the channel. Yes some of them act like they own the channel but it's so wide you can easily go around them. I do find them annoying when there is a lot of boat traffic but it just isn't worth getting mad about, I am on the boat to enjoy myself.

Well one of the bass fisherman said something about him running so close to him and it resulted in a massive argument. The bass guys were casting their hooks on the boat trying to hit him, he was throwing big chunks of ice at them. I just sunk down in the seat and didn't do anything. Another time we were coming in from fishing and he had been drinking most of the day. He headed to the fuel pumps and started yelling at a guy about taking up to much room at the gas dock. This got physical pushing each other and a couple of fists were thrown but not landed. Several people broke it up but someone did call the police. I didn't want to get involved in his drunken stupidity so I walked back to the dock, got in my car and left. I found out later that the police didn't do anything after they showed up, they didn't even ask if the guys were drinking or not.

What's ironic about this guy who I won't go out in his boat; someone put a rag in his fuel fill and his wood Lyman burned to the ground. I'm pretty sure it was someone that he had gotten into an argument with, they wanted to get the last word.

My uncle and I parted ways 10 years ago. He was not only worthless being on a boat or attempting to fish, he was a liability.

I don't like know-it-alls. No matter what you tell them, they say, yeah I know. Like, be careful with that flat line on the t top, yeah I know. Next cast there's a freakin mess with his line and the flat line. Comments like 'what I would do is blah blah blah' without being asked for an opinion annoy the shit out of me. If you want to go somewhere or want to fish in a certain way, buy your own damn boat.

First cast he bird nested it so bad every bit of it had to be cut out. He slams live well lids, wears boots, brings bananas. He went to put a fish it the ice chest tripped and through it back over board. Can't back up a trailer to save his life. He means well and loves to go so I don't complain, he's learning.
LOL. Understand the frustrations everyone is explaining but this guy is gold. Take the video camera.
