I can understand completely..
I've been @ the hosp. all day..
Step daughter taking 1st night(s) shift.. So I can rest up..

See....

My Misses, is Legally blind...

(Glaucoma & Genetic eye defect called Adriana)...
So I , how can I say? Can Rule out Signs # 1, 3 and 4...

The Sudden Confusion & Speaking are what I observed... #2..

She sounded Drunk As _____________..

She opined, She felt "just fine"...
I urged her into the Car.. I tricked Her into go getting Her a ARBY's Samwish..

Hosp. is about 4 blocks away.. Thus; "Minutes count"... Arby's is @ the corner.. from the hosp..

Walked into the ER..

Misses was getting belligerent at this point

Walked up to reception desk, Asked, Da Misses to Say Her name & Todays Date, to the front desk.. Then We could go back Home..

The CNA? @ the desk said.. instead,,,, Come with Me...

MRI later & Artery ultrasound.. Well; She was admitted,, on the spot..

I'm NOT Trying to portray myself as a "Hero"..

What I AM saying is this..
PLEASE, be aware..
because ONE of several of the Symptoms are..
Confusion, Sudden behavioral change. Agitation.
I was, As was She,,, very Lucky.. I got Her into the car.. then,, to our destination.. I'm NOT saying HOW..
I love my Misses very much, as I'm positive some/ALL THT'ers do.. love their Misses I mean, Or SIG. other..
I don't want to "Lose" Her..
I just want to bring awareness..

End Public Service message...
God Bless you all..

What a great piece of advise and thank you for what you did. You have to be a bit shaken up too. Stay strong. I would be crying.

Awesome job

YOU, my friend, are a WONDERFUL husband for doing what you did and getting her to the hospital so quickly! Could have been much worse.

May she have a quick recovery and remember the lessons you have both learned!

(And it appears that she DID get her "Arby's", too!)

Regards,

It sounds like you got your wife medical help during the "Golden Hour". Good for you! Your quick action certainly improved her chances for a full recovery, hope that she's 100% very soon.
