Default EGO Lawn Mower and Weed Wacker (56 volts)

I have had a gardener for the past 12 years, the quality of his work keep going down while his prices keep going up.
I am contemplating doing my lawn care myself (once again), my lawn mower and weed wacker as been sitting in a shed for the past 12 years.
Would like to restart with new equipment, online searches have led me to the EGO 56v stuff.
Question: anyone here use any of that equipment, results and your opinions, good, bad or indifferent.

Use the lawnmower myself.

Small area so I can not comment on run time.

Best thing ever in my opinion. You can mow at 2 in the morning If you wanted to.

I have the EGO blower and I love it for what I use it for.

It all depends on the lot size.

I have Ryobi 40V mower & wacker & happy with both. You can't cut real high grass with the mower and the wacker is kind of heavy but I'm happy with both. I have a 4 stroke weed wacker that I like too, it starts on the 2nd or 3rd pull not 50 pulls like the 2 stroke ones I've had. A 56V would be even more powerful than the 40V stuff I have so I'm sure you will be happy with the 56V.

Have you seen the Husqvarna electric robotic mower? I saw one operating in Sweden; it was pretty neat. Almost silent, and left a beautiful cut.

My gas string trimmer died last month. Was tired of mixing gas and having to choke and pull the cord
twenty times before it would start.

So I purchased an Ego 56V string trimmer at Home Depot for around $150.

Could not be happier. It is just as powerful or more so than my gas trimmer. Line feed works great.
Variable speed trigger. Best part is now I just walk in to the garage, pick it up, press the trigger and away we go.

On a side note, if you do get the Ego 56v, it comes with a hinged shaft for shipping purposes.
When you put the shaft together make sure you put the bolts in with the head of the bolts facing the
battery. If not, the hinge in the shaft will gape open and will not support the weight of the trimmer head.
Ask me how I know.

Hope this helps.

my gas blower died a few months ago, my research led me to this. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Greenworks-...wer/1000195159

had it for 2 months and have been very happy. Plan on buying the chainsaw next.
