Whatever intelligent species exists, they can show me off in their museum in 110 million years.

From dust to dust and dump it in the cobalt blue water. Don't put me in some lonely hole in the ground or some box/urn on a shelf.

I have my spot picked out as well.

Also, there is a strict instruction given to my family that I want a bottle of alcohol at my casket during the wake in which everyone over 21 must take a shot and publicly share their favorite memory of me.

There will also be no black worn at my wake. Bright colors.

BTW, I am pretty young. Just about thirty. Also, if I outlast the wife I have another plan for myself when I get too old to function. Very similar to one posted above.

I have been thinking about burial at sea. It would be my last chance to pay Portside Marina

They actually make burial at sea bags that are suitable for viewing. Much cheaper that a casket. Not really sure about people looking at me dead. Heck I ain't that pretty alive. .

Cremation. Mix me with a bag of Quikrete and dump me on some live bottom offshore.

Cremation for me...

My kids know to spread my ashes around the house...that way my wife will still be cleaning up after me.

Cremation and toss my remains in the ocean.

After decades of setting hooks in fish mouths, it's only fair to give them a little revenge.

Simple and no brainer, many of my close friends are gone, little family who care, other than the money left over, CREMATION quick and no Viewing

Wrap me in an old blanket and bury me by the pond next to my dogs with a little piece of 4x4 PT to mark the spot.

And the winner is......................cremation.

Really a no brainer. If the deceased wanted a church service and then cremation you can rent a casket, have the body embalmed and placed in the casket for the service. Afterwards the body is cremated and the survivors can do with the ashes as the deceased wanted.

Turn up the burner, and sprinkle my ashes in the ocean, preferably in the Gulf Stream, but at least far enough out that I don't wash back up on the beach.

Since the Catholic Church acknowledged cremation several years ago we decided to go that route.

No casket, no cemetery plot, no vault, no headstone. Total waste of money in our opinion.

Have you decided on what you will do and if so what is it?
Hopefully when I'm gone I've done my work for my family, spending money on my being gone doesn't do anything positive for them when it's all said and done.
Spread me out on the waters we love.
